Bac Son is a rural district of Lạng Sơn Province in the Northeast region of Vietnam and it is situated 160 km northeast of Hanoi.
One of the interesting aspects about this valley is its incredibly high mountains which are about 500-1200 meters high. These mountains, together with the valley’s paddy fields, create a great scenic landscape that you can only see its best after climbing to the peak of a mountain which is located just a few minutes from the town.
The valley’s pathways leads you to the paddy fields where you’ll get a chance to see the beautiful river that runs crossing the rice fields. Besides the valley itself, Bac Son district’s villages possess a beauty of their own.
The district is inhabited by the Tay ethnic people and their traditional stilt houses. Some of the overnight bac son tours will be the best for both the scenery and learning the local life of the hill tribe.

We depart from Hanoi at 7:30 AM. The morning drive takes us nearly 4 hours, through the fertile Red River Delta and onward into the hilly area after Thai Nguyen City. The scenery along the way is beautiful with rice and other cereal fields, dotted with stilt-house villages. There will be some stops on the way for taking photographs. Arrive at Quynh Son village by noon. A Vietnam lunch will be severed at a local stilt house. This is not only a chance to enjoy the local food but also a good time to interact with the host family.
After lunch and a short rest, we will take a short stroll around the village to learn the daily life of the Tay ethnic minority. Get picked up by car on the way and transferred to the foot of a mountain where the cell phone tower situated atop. Thence, we start climbing up to the summit for admiring the dramatic panorama of the valley.
Getting back down and walk to the homestay for refreshing, rest and dinner. Overnight at the homestay.
After the traditional breakfast, this morning we will embark on a 3,5-hour hike on a rural back road. Along the hike, you can have a close look at the local farming, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in a good harmony of mountains, forests and local life. At the end of the hike we get picked up by our private transport back to the family. After lunch, we will drive back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi in between 4. 30 and 5.00 PM. End of service.

Yes, of course if you would like to make a reservation directly with the tour operator or travel agent, you will need to contact them directly. However, we are in good position to make the offer, make the booking and run the trip as we are a local tour operator.
You will be notified via an e-mail (within 24 hours after placing your order) and we will do our best to suggest or book an alternative similar hotel based on your preferences and our experience.
We can only guarantee bookings made at least 3-working days (not including Sun & Public holidays) before the departure date.
You can book as far as 24 months in advance, but please ensure you remember you have made the reservation. We will charge 30% of total rate is required upon the confirmation of services require full payment 60 days before departure.
