Hue, an old capital of Vietnam, is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its complex of Hue Monuments sitting on the banks of the delightful Perfume River. The complex preserves the remains of the fully defended feudal capital after the ravages of war and decay have taken their toll.
The sites are mainly reached through the Perfume River, making it perfect for a boat trip. This day trip adventure in Hue will let you discover a rich tapestry of history and culture.

Morning: Dong Ba Market – Thien Mu Pagoda You will be picked up around 08:00 from your hotel in Hue and taken to Dong Ba Market where you can get a feel of the traditional culture and way of living in Hue. Then, a boat ride will take you down the picturesque Perfume River. Get the bonus of experiencing the fragrant aroma of the fallen orchid flowers which drifts up from the water when you travel in autumn. You will disembark at Thien Mu Pagoda. Explore the temple and the tranquil gardens before proceeding to the Imperial Citadel, home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty. To end the morning, you will visit The Hue Royal Antiques Museum which houses a fascinating collection of ornaments from the Nguyen dynasty.
Afternoon: Khai Dinh’s Tomb – Minh Mang’s Tomb After sampling some tasty traditional Hue cuisine at a local restaurant for lunch, you will visit the tomb of King Khai Dinh which, showcases flamboyant designs inspired by both Western and Eastern architectures. Next, you will visit the tomb of King Minh Mang known for its beautiful setting and traditional design focusing heavily on symmetry. Finally, you will visit the conical hat village where you can uncover the skilled craft of making a Vietnamese culture’s icon, the conical hat. After a full day of exploring the rich culture and history of Hue, you will be taken back to your hotel in the city.

Yes, of course if you would like to make a reservation directly with the tour operator or travel agent, you will need to contact them directly. However, we are in good position to make the offer, make the booking and run the trip as we are a local tour operator.
You will be notified via an e-mail (within 24 hours after placing your order) and we will do our best to suggest or book an alternative similar hotel based on your preferences and our experience.
