At 11h20 on November 18th, athlete of Sa Pa Group (Lao Cai) – Mr. Hang A Po (one of our guide to Fansipan) has won the race to conquer Mount Fansipan within 3 hours and 20 minutes. Particularly, the time for his journey from the start to Fansipan peak was only 1 hour 35 minutes, breaking the record of conquering Fansipan peak in 2010 for about 25 minutes.

Since 2007 till now, the held Fansipan Peak Climbing Conquest has appealed to hundreds of domestic and foreign athletes to participate. This year, the Conquest attracted more than 60 professional and non-professional athletes, including 15 international athletes from 10 countries: China, UK, France, US, Belgium, Spain, New Zealand. , Laos, Switzerland, Australia.

Journey to conquer Fansipan peak is not only a challenge for Vietnamese people but also for international visitors

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Climbing Conquest, Deputy Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People’s Committee Ha Thi Nga affirmed: “Indochina’s Roof – Fansipan has long been a famous site, attractive destination for those fascinating in exploring and adventure. Conquering Fansipan peak is a dream, a pride of millions of domestic and foreign tourists “.

The conquest is an opportunity to promote the majestic Fansipan image, Hoang Lien National Park, and enticing  tourist products of Sapa.
